Product Description
Thyme is a shrubby plant with a woody base and many upright, twiggy branches. 'Argenteus' has silver-edged foliage and a strong, sharp lemon scent. In summer, it carries short, irregularly branched stalks with clusters of tiny pale lavender-pink flowers with leaflike bracts in irregular, oblong heads.
Thyme Turkey Rub
4 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
4 teaspoons minced onion
4 teaspoons minced garlic
2 teaspoons coars kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 cup olive oil
In a blender or food processor, mix rosemary, thyme, onion, garlic, coarse salt, pepper, and olive oil. Pulse until well blended. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator at least 10 minutes before rubbing under turkey skin or injecting into meat as desired.
